Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Ms. Bronsteader and this is my first year teaching! I am so excited to be part of the St. Francis Xavier team! I went to Northern Michigan University and graduated in December 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education. I student taught in a kindergarten classroom at Winnebago Elementary in Bloomingdale, Il.
After I graduated, I moved to Marquette, Michigan (where NMU is located). I was a teacher assistant in a kindergarten classroom. The next school year I was hired as a first grade teacher assistant. I loved working with young learners!
In December 2016, I moved back to Illinois and worked as a long-term substitute in a first grade classroom. I enjoyed my time in first grade, but I missed kindergarten.
I am so excited to be back in a kindergarten classroom! I cannot wait to dive right in and teach numbers, letters, words, and more!
I love spending time with my family--my mom, dad, brothers Steve and Mike, and dog Hobbes. In my free time, I like swimming, running, hiking, walking Hobbes, and playing in the snow!
On my website you can find notes, pictures, and updates. Please feel free to contact me with any questions! I'm looking forward to a great year!
